Very interesting. Local councillors have been talking about it intermittently for years. Because it's so rural there's virtually nothing obstructing the trackbed, other than the semi-derelict light railway at Bromyard. Land ownership would be the challenge, I guess.

Can a moderator compensate for the shortcomings of my fingers in the subject line?

I have flushed through the subject line on all posts in the thread - Worceset to Worcester.

I also searched for further news sources on this and drew a blank - not a surprise, as I'm sure you and others have  searched too.    Tends to suggest an early phase idea (or fake news  Grin ) to me.

That august organ the Malvern Gazette had a piece on it recently - well, recently in the geological sense:

https://www.malverngazette.co.uk/news/malvern/8237695.town-could-be-at-heart-of-cycle-route/

But there's nothing in the Herefordshire Local Transport Plan to suggest any plans to improve the lot of those who might wish to cycle along the A44, as far as I can see.

Until then there's a much better route along the B road to Clifton on Teme then through lanes to Kimbolton. It's in my Garmin somewhere... Longer, but nicer than the A44.
