With thanks for the idea from one of members (at http://www.passenger.chat/23855 ) ... please vote, just for fun, which station you think will see its first regular scheduled passenger trains earliest.   You can vote "either way" - so go for a single winner, or a place in the top three - that's up to three votes.

This is NOT "which would you LIKE to see first" - "it is which WILL BE first"

I'm not going to vote. I wouldn't want to jinx any of these!

I know the feeling.

It looks like an open race ... all the runners have backers and there is no odds-on favourite yet.  Race is just one five furlongs days - please do vote (it's anonymous) by next Wednesday.

I'm suprised at the current leader as one has already had a train make a trial call. It's mentioned in current post on 60 reopenings. Moderators could you put a link please

We could, or you could yourself Grin Cheesy

Marsh Barton has no station but it does have service that could call ... Marchwood has a station but no services passing through it.   Horse but no cart, cart but no horse.

Would the Bristol Arenal be open next year?  I've lost track of just when/if it will happen.  The station there would rely on MetroWest being up and running too.

Result! ... Interesting to see which the 30 of you who voted think will be first or in the first group.

Marsh Barton   - 15 (28.3%)
Cardiff Parkway   - 10 (18.9%)
Portway Parkway   - 8 (15.1%)
Marchwood   - 7 (13.2%)
Portishead   - 5 (9.4%)
Devizes Parkway   - 5 (9.4%)
Cullompton   - 2 (3.8%)
Corsham   - 1 (1.9%)

Some very interesting mid-range runners in there could well be that some of the later entrants come in ahead of the pack.  Could also be with some of the less favoured runners that there's work going on behind the scenes and suddenly a station will pop up.  It's often about being ready to take an opportunity.
