A couple of reminders to members

Following these these steps can save our team a huge amount of time - all given voluntarily - and is hugely appreciated.

- if you change your email address, please update your profile on the Coffee Shop to the new address too.  If, as you read this, you wonder what address you have registered, you can check ((here))

- if you are returning, even after an absence of many years, please reconnect to your old account and do not open a new one. Duplicate requests/accounts are deleted when they are identified. If you can't connect to the old account for any reason, please email our admins through the link that's at the bottom of every page for help.

- if you are expecting email(s) from us but have not received them, please check your spam folder.  Many email filter are good at identifying automated emails and weeding them out ... and of course the emails from our server are of necessity automated.

I know that most of you do follow these steps, thank you.  But if you could just do a quick check that would be appreciated.  We're moving forward and in challenging times for the rail industry too like we thought were thing of the past with service loses are reliability and capacity making the systems creak at the seams, and it's really good to have our own house in order and running like a well oiled machine.

You can find out more about how this forum works [here] - that will link you to a copy of the forum agreement that you can read before you join, and tell you very much more about how we operate. We are an independent forum, provided and run by customers of Great Western Railway, for customers of Great Western Railway and we welcome railway professionals as members too, in either a personal or official capacity. Views expressed in posts are not necessarily the views of the operators of the forum.

As well as posting messages onto existing threads, and starting new subjects, members can communicate with each other through personal messages if they wish. And once members have made a certain number of posts, they will automatically be admitted to the "frequent posters club", where subjects not-for-public-domain are discussed; anything from the occasional rant to meetups we may be having ...
