OK, let's get the ball rolling....rather than try to get guess which Sims Metals yard that is, let's try the easy one - 5 looks like Sete Rios Station in Lisbon, thanks to a helpful clue from a cut-price German supermarket chain!

Could 7 be an exhibition somewhere for the proposed Bristol Mass Transit system?

It isn't ... though it is a good example of trains and buses coming together at the same place.

2. Is it the new Brent Cross West?  Steelwork seems familiar.

Most Sims Metal yards are on flat estates, which that isn't, so looking at their locations, I would hazard a guess that it is at Neath.

Yes

1. Reading Green Park

Yes

...  - 5 looks like Sete Rios Station in Lisbon, ...

Yes, it is.

Other guesses - sorry, 6 is NOT Neath, and 7 is NOT a Bristol exhibition

Yes - number 6 is indeed New Zealand - and my thanks to [name] for permission to use the picture in the quiz.  I saw it and couldn't resist trying to include it.    Very VERY embarrassing - I'm looking back through my feed and failing to find that name and permission ... will take a further look overnight or others (such as the person) welcome to remind me ((turning into forgetful old man!))

47476NightMail - welcome to the forum, and your first post.  Do you have a Kiwi (or Sims) connection?

Thanks.  I’ve spent a fair amount of time in NZ so recognized the Auckland Transport SA (Suburban Auckland) coach being scrapped.  The hills in the background made me think that it looked like Wellington which narrowed down the likely possibilities to Lower Hutt (not that I was 100% sure).

Having now tracked down the original photo on Facebook, the coach in question is ex-BR (British Rail(ways)) Mk2D TSO (The Stationary Office (now OPSI)) 5729, rebuilt sometime after 2003 and out of use since 2015 following the electrification of the Auckland suburban rail network and replacement by the CAF-built AM class EMUs (Electric Multiple Unit).
