Important travel update
Due to ferry timetable changes linked to repair works at Holyhead Port, we have temporarily suspended the sale of SailRail tickets for journeys to and from Holyhead.
It is likely that SailRail tickets will remain unavailable for purchase until at least December 2025, whilst we review and seek assurances from the ferry companies on the port reopening. We sincerely apologise for this inconvenience.
While the port remains open, timings for ferry departures and arrivals are subject to change.
Where possible, we strongly advise customers to check timings with their ferry company before they travel.
Please note: Services via Fishguard Harbour are not affected and continue to operate as normal.

The Man in Seat 61 tells us
Breaking: Sale of SailRail tickets from British rail stations to Dublin has been suspended by Transport for Wales (who manage it on behalf of all train operators), due to ferry re-timing shenanigans while repairs to Holyhead's deepwater berths continue. This could last until December. See announcement at https://tfw.wales/ways-to-travel/rail/ticket-types/sailrail (learn more about SailRail to Dublin at https://www.seat61.com/train-and-ferry-to-dublin.htm)
But there's a suggested workaround: Call Stena Line on 03443 350 027 to buy SailRail tickets. Stena Line can sell SailRail tickets from London and major UK cities to Dublin and can send tickets by post to any UK address (i.e. no e-tickets, hard copy by post, and London or major cities to Dublin, not from any station)
