Black = to close, but could you remind me of the meaning of 'Red dotted' pls.

Retained for long distance passenger trains - intermediate stations to close. So on Anglsey, for Example, a loss of
Valley, Rhosneigr, Ty Cross, Bodorgan, Gaerwen and LlanfairPG.

From the Beeching report maps - interesting to see what had already gone, and what was proposed to go. And then to think of what survived, and what did not but has been re-opened.
